FAQ
What's
SMTP?
It stands for Simple Mail
Transfer Protocol , and it is one of the most
typical systems of sending
email.
Why
does it cause
problems?
The SMTP server you got from your
ISP works well at home, but to handle spam they do
not permit it to work from any other connection.
Thus, when you're not at home, your portable
laptop, PDA, Smartphone or other device will not be
able to send emails. SMTP2GO employ a better
authentication system so they can supply a world
smtp system.
Don't many ISP's block
port25?
Yes, this again is to stop their
system being abused and used for spam.
SMTP2GO can operate on port 25,
2525, 8025 and 587.
I've got many email addresses, do I really need to
subscribe multiple
times?
No, each account will permit you
to use five different email
addresses
Am I able to try the service for
free?
Yes you can, you can sign up for
a free seven day trial here.
